Benton County is a very AG based community, with many ag based businesses. 94% of the county is covered in corn, soybeans and we even have a shrimp farm. That’s right a shrimp farm, a saltwater shrimp and crawfish farm. We love our AQUACULTURE. We also have two large dairies, and two hog operations.
Along with the agriculture, Benton County is home to two large powder coating companies (also specializing in metal form ornaments), a truss manufacturing company, a major truck body manufacturer, a rail car restoration company, and several other manufacturing plants.
We take great pride in our local businesses and entrepreneurs and we strive to find the best resources to fit any needs they may have. We also make every effort to promote our local businesses to give them priority over any business located outside our county boundaries that offers the same services. If you are looking for resources or businesses to assist you with your needs, please check out the following links for more information. This is a good fit. Talent and Labor… there’s really no reason to go anywhere else. We’re not crowded. We’re happy. We like raising our kids here.
